Forcibly Advancing the Kingdom of God

The Creation of the Kingdom of God

God has continued to reveal more about the Kingdom of God.
It’s not just a concept to accept in a general way.
It’s not something we will experience in the “sweet by and by.”
It’s more real than what we see around us.
It’s more real than the kingdoms we hear about in the daily news.

Matthew wrote that the Kingdom of God was created for us at the beginning of time!

The kingdom (was) prepared for you from the founda­tion of the world (25:34).

What does this mean to me?

When God created Adam and Eve, the first thing He said about them was,

Let them have dominion over this earth and everything in it (Genesis 1:26).

This was God’s purpose for the creation of mankind. They were created in His likeness to rule and reign, not over each other, but over the earth and everything in it. They were to establish the Kingdom of God on this earth.

This “dominion” was lost when Adam and Eve sinned, but God still had a plan. Our destiny was restored when Jesus rose from the dead and declared:

“I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven,
and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven,
and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven” (Matthew 16:19).

And then in Hebrews, we learn that Jesus is waiting for one thing. He is waiting until His enemies are made His footstool. He is not going to do this for us. He is waiting for His body to wake up, discover their created purpose and forcibly advance the Kingdom of God on this earth. That is what the writer of the book of Hebrews tells us.

This Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever,
sat down at the right hand of God, from that time waiting
till His enemies are made His footstool (10:12,13).

We have lost so much of what the Bible actually teaches. We have lost so much of the miraculous. We haven’t understood that when we are born-again, we become partakers of the Kingdom of God. At the moment of salvation, we become partners with God. We are to rule and reign over this earth as His representatives. Read these powerful words of Jesus.

Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you,
unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God (John 3:3).

From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence,
and the violent take it by force (Matthew 11:12).

Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions,
and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you (Luke 10:19).

I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it (Matthew 16:18).

This sounds like war, and we are at war! But we are not to war in the flesh; It’s time to war in the spirit. It’s time the church, which Jesus said He would build, wakes up and steps into its created purpose and forcibly advances His Kingdom using spiritual weapons.

For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal
but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4).

What is the Kingdom of God?

We are given a straight-forward definition of the Kingdom of God in Romans,

For the kingdom of God is not food and drink,
but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit (14:17).

Righteousness

God says if we seek His kingdom and His right­eousness, all these things will be added to us.

“Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness,
and all these things shall be added to you (Matthew 6:33).

Peace

Unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given;
and the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful,
Counselor,
Mighty God,
Everlasting Father,
Prince of Peace.

Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end,
upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, to order it and establish it
with judgment and justice from that time forward, even forever.
The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this (Isaiah 9:6, 7).

Joy

Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field,
which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes
and sells all that he has and buys that field (Matthew 13:44).

Living in the Kingdom of God, we are to experience righteousness, peace and Joy! There is so much more to learn about the Kingdom of God. As we understand what God has created for us, our lives will change. We will stop thinking of ourselves as victims and begin to see ourselves as victors!

Advancing the Kingdom of God

On the way to Malaysia, I was a keynote speaker at the annual Kingdom Congressional International Alliance Conference in Portland, Oregon and then ministered on Sunday at The Rock of The Harbor Church in Gig Harbor, Washington. I ministered on the subject of Being the Kings of the Kingdom in both of these meetings. As I continued on to Malaysia, I was blessed to have both Charlie Fisher and Nathan French who are two of our powerfully anointed spiritual sons ministering with me.

Our ministry in Malaysia began with a three-day conference on The Glory of God where God moved in awesome manifestations of His glory and power. Many were healed and slain under the power of God in these meetings as we all experienced the overwhelming glory of His presence. One of those who attended was a young lady who was completely healed of fourth-stage breast and liver cancer during our meetings there last year.

The following weekend we spent three days ministering in a powerful, growing church which included the training of their leaders on How to Hear the Voice of God. We also ministered on the gifts of The Holy Spirit in our daily lives and ministry.

God moved in such a powerful way as I ministered on The Gospel of the Kingdom. People were saved, filled with The Holy Spirit and many exciting healing miracles took place.

During the week, I had the privilege of ministering to the cell-group leaders of a large Burmese speaking church in Malaysia with about three hundred in attendance. Most of these are refugees from the nation of Burma (now Myanmar) and are the most “turned on” and excited group of young people that I have ever ministered to. They were so hungry and excited for more of God that they never sat down or stopped leaping and shouting during the meetings which lasted until 3 or 3:30 in the morning.

During one of these meetings, I ministered on The Love of The Father. At the end as I was hugging them and imparting the Father’s love, most of them were slain under the power of God. I also taught on New Creation Image and The Authority of the Believer and other foundational teach­ings. The auditorium was packed with 800 or more in attendance as I ministered in their weekly church service on the subject of The Kings of the Kingdom.

During this time, I was able to give them 100 packages that Joyce had prepared. These contained copies of all our manuals in both the Burmese and English languages on “thumb drives” so they could download all of our teachings in their own language onto their cell phones and portable devices.

This has been a wonderful time of living in, imparting, and forcibly advancing the Kingdom of God!
